About the Role As a Virtual Recruiter, you will actively recruit child care staff, manage and maintain the interview process, and onboard staff to support Sentient’s growth across Ontario. Key Responsibilities Plan recruitment messaging, ensure alignment with brand guidelines, stay competitive in messaging, and seek approval for changes. Create recruitment posts weekly on Facebook, Instagram, and Website; include an application button when possible; track ROI weekly; collaborate with Marketing to boost social media posts as needed. Identify suitable groups, blogs, and websites for free and paid postings. Monitor the e-Orientation site and ensure targets for completion are met; motivate candidates to complete the course to start work. Collect required documentation for Sentient supply staff. Update the website with new job postings. Collaborate with Marketing to recruit using digital strategies. Interview candidates for Sentient Supply. Focus online recruitment in areas of need. Track the effectiveness of recruitment strategies. What are we looking for?To be successful in this position, you must have 6+ months of experience in a recruiter role, preferably in the education or childcare sector. Additional requirements Post-secondary education equivalent to a diploma or degree in HR or a related field. Mass recruitment experience is an asset. Ability to network in areas of need, including colleges, community & employment centres. Awareness of industry-related policies, procedures, and protocols in child care. A positive Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required. Competency using technology, including cloud-based recruitment programs. Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work under tight deadlines. A dynamic individual with a drive to achieve goals and a focus on adding new staff to the team.
