We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a Toronto-based team of i Gaming and sports betting pros with a global vision and a relentless pursuit of performance.
You’ll work closely with the CTO and other team members to drive forward key product initiatives across the company's portfolio of sports betting and i Gaming platforms, with a key initial focus on a flagship crypto betting site primarily targeting North American audiences.
*i Gaming or sportsbook/sports betting experience not required, but nice to have. :)

What You’ll Do:
Lead the development of data-driven products, including building customer data pipelines and enhancing backend systems.
Create high-performance, real-time data systems for managing and analyzing customer data streams.
Drive system improvements, including developing algorithms for data normalization and ensuring seamless API integrations.
Maintain and enhance the order flow management systems and dashboards that are crucial to our operations.
Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across teams.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in software development, data warehousing, and cloud technologies. Sports betting and i Gaming experience are a plus, but not required.
Strong backend experience in one of the following languages: Ruby, Rust, Node.js, or Python.
Solid understanding of Kubernetes, AWS (Lambda, ECS, Dynamo DB), and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and dashboarding (e.g., Looker, Grafana).
Experience with building and maintaining robust API integrations.
Bonus points for experience in CRM system integration.
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and thrive in a startup environment. Comfortable with the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of the startup world.
