SOC Analyst L2 – Cybersecurity (Montreal / Hybrid)
We are looking for a SOC Analyst L2 to join a structured and demanding environment, focusing on threat detection, incident analysis, and response activities.
🎯 Responsibilities
• Analyze and investigate security incidents (L2 level)
• Monitor, detect, and triage security alerts (SIEM / EDR)
• Perform incident response and escalation when required
• Conduct threat hunting and malicious code analysis
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC processes
• Support threat intelligence and security monitoring activities
🔍 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years in cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience in:
Threat analysis and investigation
Incident response
Threat hunting
• Strong knowledge of SIEM solutions:
Microsoft Sentinel
Microsoft Defender
• Experience with security monitoring in complex environments
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification required
• Previous experience in public or private organizations in Quebec is an asset
• Availability at contract award
