Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Policy Technical Lead with strong expertise in the Duck Creek platform to lead design, development, and integration initiatives within an insurance technology environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge, hands-on technical capabilities, and experience working on complex transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of Duck Creek Policy and Billing solutions Architect and deliver scalable integrations with third-party applications and internal systems Provide technical leadership across Duck Creek On Demand (DCOD) architecture, configuration, and deployment Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, data integrations, and platform optimization Support data migration strategies , including ETL processes and transformation frameworks Drive adoption of Dev Ops practices , CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks Participate in client interactions, providing technical guidance and solution recommendations Contribute to large-scale insurance digital transformation initiatives
Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of IT experience , including 8+ years working with Duck Creek Strong expertise in Duck Creek Policy and Billing modules Hands-on experience with:
Express 3 UI Rating, Forms, Rules Server, Requests, Transact Deep understanding of Duck Creek On Demand (DCOD) architecture Experience with Duck Creek Anywhere APIs, AMI , and cloud-based integrations Strong integration experience using RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Proven ability to design efficient, scalable integration solutions Experience with data migration, ETL tools, and transformation frameworks Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and automated testing Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Duck Creek On Demand implementations Duck Creek certifications (Policy, Billing, or On Demand) Background in insurance technology transformation programs Experience with event-driven architecture
