Role Summary
The IT ERP Systems Analyst will serve as the primary support resource for ERP systems, acting as a key liaison between technical teams and business users. This role focuses on troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing ERP functionality while supporting business operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level support for ERP system users across multiple departments
Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, including transaction errors and system performance
Act as a liaison between end users, technical teams, and external vendors
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Serve as the functional subject matter expert for ERP systems and their integrations
Support EDI processes, including diagnosing and resolving transaction failures
Assist in system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
Monitor system performance and optimize queries using SQL
Maintain documentation, workflows, and system configurations
Support additional business applications as required
Qualifications & Requirements Strong hands-on experience with SQL , including troubleshooting and performance optimization Working knowledge of EDI processes and issue resolution Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to system support
Preferred Qualifications
5–10 years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment
3–5 years of experience with IBM System i (AS400) and DB2 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Relevant certifications in ERP systems or database technologies (asset)
