Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
Monitoring upcoming jobs, conducting pre-inspections, and reviewing job specifications
Communicating with builders’ supervisors regarding requirements, changes, and site conditions
Assigning jobs to crews, ensuring scope of work is clearly understood and executed
Coordinating with the production team to align crew schedules, work orders, and supplier needs
Performing quality control inspections (pre-installation, post-installation, and service as required)
Assisting with crew management, problem-solving, and resolving on-site issues
Overseeing performance and ensuring quality protocols are consistently met
Maintaining strong communication with management, subcontractors, vendors, and builders
Supporting equipment and site maintenance, including preventive measures and inspections
Leading and motivating field crews while fostering a culture of safety and respect
Conducting toolbox meetings, ensuring hazard assessments are completed, and reporting safety issues
Delivering materials, assisting with returns, and supporting shop/office needs as required
Providing accurate updates on crew completion status and approvals for sub-contractor payments
Upholding the company’s policies, safety standards, and core values in all tasks
Education:
Supervisor training from ACSA (asset)
First Aid, Fall Protection, and Man-Lift certification
Qualifications: Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Experience:
3+ years as a Site Supervisor or in a similar leadership role
3+ years of residential construction experience in the field or equivalent knowledge
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and meet deadlines
Conflict resolution, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF, and related software
Strong time management and organizational skills
Team-oriented but also able to work independently with minimal supervision
Base Salary: $75,000-80,000 per year
Full benefits package after 3-month probation
