Senior Manager, Technology - AI Infrastructure, Analytics and Customer Data
Position Overview

As a Sr. Manager Technology, you will contribute to the products we create, help grow the next generation of talent, and help shape the technology strategy of the enterprise. This position oversees and directs several management teams of associates in the development, implementation and ongoing support of Home Depot’s existing and new Analytics, AI, and CRM platforms. The Sr. Manager must exhibit the ability to lead managers and their teams and drive change management and process improvement.

The Senior Manager will support and drive the implementation of the AI Data Strategy, and advanced analytics operations at Home Depot. Responsibilities include development of data infrastructure to support AI use cases across the organization and working with cross-functional partners to create data marts that serve multiple stakeholders. This individual is also responsible for leading and managing development and ongoing support for CRM and Customer Commons (platform for identification of customer golden record).

As part of a high-energy, diverse, fast-paced, and innovative culture, the Sr. Manager will be expected to engage with our business partners to identify data-driven opportunities and map business problems to data needs and AI solutions; develop a roadmap that spans and informs all areas of the business from product innovation to customer success; and guide and inspire the teams in best practices, and evangelize strategic use of data throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities The role requires critical thought leadership focused on developing analytical processes, tools, and strategy and data infrastructure
Establishes short and long range capital estimates, plans and executes projects in a timely and fiscally responsible manner with utmost customer satisfaction.
Oversee transformation of data infrastructure (SAP and non-SAP data)
Manage the data engineering team that ensures best practices for data governance, security, and scalability data quality, governance and consistency for advanced analytics and AI modeling
Partner with cross-functional business leaders to demystify AI capabilities, identify high-value use cases, and drive enterprise-wide AI adoption and change management.
Ensure AI solutions comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements
Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI systems, making improvements as needed
Spearhead initiatives to streamline the transition of AI and analytics projects from development to production, ensuring robust infrastructure and operational efficiency
Manage and lead unification of customer data under Customer Commons platform
Manage CRM platform responsible for identification of Pro customers and managing leads Strategy & Planning Works and negotiates with partners on the staffing of Technology positions on the teams
Contributes to and makes recommendations for strategic plans in support of key objectives in a timely and fiscally responsible manner
Supports and nurtures strategic vendor relationships; recommends ways to influence vendors that align to domain, portfolio, and enterprise strategic objectives
Thought Leadership- Evaluates new technologies for adoption across the enterprise
Helps to identify and demonstrate emerging technologies for adoption by product teams
Build and maintain capital financial plan for delivery teams Delivery & Execution Collaborates and partner with other teams (UX, Technology, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions
Works with vendors and partners for the successful implementation of applications and platforms
Supporting creation of meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactively
Participates in and leads review board sessions to drive consistency across the enterprise
Makes suggestions that help drive operational excellence to create internal customer satisfaction and meet operational metrics
Communicate status of activities with the Senior Mgmt, business partners, peers and end users. Support & Enablement Resolve field questions from Business stakeholders, Technology team members, product teams, or support teams
Acts as an escalation point for the team supported People Leadership Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Managers, Scrum Masters, Architects and other technology associates

Experience in operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
Experience with managing multiple large cross functional programs
Experience with translating high level strategy to tactical execution
Proficient in hiring, managing and growing team members in a professional setting
Proficient in prioritizing and balancing workloads across multiple teams
