ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced SAP Success Factors LMS Lead to drive the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of the SAP Success Factors Learning Management System. The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all LMS-related activities, partnering closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver a scalable, compliant, and high-performing learning solution that meets organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end SAP Success Factors LMS implementation, configuration, and post-go-live support activities.
Serve as the primary SME and technical lead for the Learning Management module, including Items, Curricula, Programs, Certifications, and Assignment Profiles.
Conduct requirements gathering workshops with HR, L&D, and business stakeholders to define learning strategy, compliance needs, and success metrics.
Translate business requirements into functional design and system configuration within SAP Success Factors LMS.
Manage data migration activities including legacy learning records, course catalogs, and user data.
Design, configure, and maintain custom LMS reports using Report Designer and Workforce Analytics tools.
Lead test strategy development (SIT, UAT) including SAP Success Factors test automation where applicable.
Oversee integrations with Employee Central, third-party content providers, Single Sign-On (SSO/IAS/IPS), and other enterprise systems.
Deliver end-user training, change management support, and knowledge transfer to client and internal teams.
Provide go-live readiness, cutover planning, and Hypercare support.
Monitor SAP Success Factors quarterly releases and assess impact on LMS configurations and processes.
Manage role-based permissions and security settings within the Success Factors platform.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Success Factors LMS, including at least 2 full end-to-end implementation projects.
Strong expertise in LMS configuration: learning activities, catalogs, curricula, assignment profiles, compliance training, and certification tracking.
SAP Success Factors Certified in Learning Management (LMS) module — required. Deep knowledge of role-based permissions, data management, and platform security.
Experience with integrations between LMS and Employee Central or SAP S/4 HANA employee master data.
Proficiency in custom LMS reporting using Report Designer and/or Workforce Analytics.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a remote, fast-paced environment.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
SAP Success Factors Certified — additional modules (e.g., Employee Central, Performance & Goals).
Experience with SAP Success Factors test automation tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with IAS/IPS setup and leveraging into LMS implementation.
Knowledge of SAP Content Stream by Skillsoft, SCORM, x API, and AICC standards.
Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government, manufacturing) where compliance training is critical.
