Role: Product Platform Lead

Compensation: $130,000–$170,000 CAD base + performance bonus

The Opportunity
We’re hiring a senior product leader to own Metronomics’ platform end-to-end: vision, strategy, business model, roadmap, and the team that delivers it. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thinks in systems (not features), ships with discipline, and can translate customer and business needs into a platform that feels like one cohesive product across multiple user types.
What You’ll Own Platform vision & roadmap: Set long-term direction and quarterly priorities; define what ships and why. Value creation & monetization: Evolve the platform’s business model and economics. AI strategy & execution: Identify high-leverage AI use cases; make build vs. buy decisions; ship responsibly. End-to-end experience: Unify workflows across multiple user types so the product feels consistent and intentional. Team & talent: Build, lead, and raise the bar for an A-player product org (hiring, coaching, performance).
Reliability & trust: Partner across engineering/security to ensure stability, security, and user confidence.
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves) 5+ years in product with 2+ years leading a team (player/coach experience). Track record shipping a platform used by multiple user types (not just a single-user product). Experience putting AI into production (beyond strategy decks), with sound judgment on where AI helps vs. harms. Experience in B2 B Saa S for professional services, education, or community platforms.
Ability to operate in a small, high-ownership company —you create the playbook as you go. Strong communication across execs, cross-functional partners, and customers: clear, direct, and collaborative.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in professional services, education, or community platforms.
Hands-on experience with platform pricing/packaging experiments and measurable impact.
Comfort partnering deeply with engineering on platform architecture and technical tradeoffs.
