The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Product Owner to help bring structure, clarity, and execution discipline to how we build and improve Care Portals as we scale.
You’ll work closely with the founding team, engineering, customer success, and operations to translate customer needs, workflow gaps, and business priorities into clear product requirements and actionable development work.
This is a highly hands-on role, ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to turn complex healthcare workflows into clear product specs, tickets, and priorities.
What you’ll work on
Own and manage the product backlog across key areas of the Care Portals platform
Translate customer feedback, internal requests, and operational pain points into clear product requirements
Write user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow documentation, and product specs
Work closely with engineering to clarify requirements, prioritize tickets, and support delivery
Collaborate with customer success and onboarding teams to identify recurring issues and product improvement opportunities
Support integrations with EHRs, pharmacies, telehealth networks, labs, payment processors, and third-party APIs
Help define and prioritize roadmap items based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility
Coordinate QA, release readiness, and internal communication around product updates
Maintain strong documentation for features, workflows, and internal product processes
Bring structure to ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
What we’re looking for
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Operations Manager, or similar role
Experience in direct-to-consumer telehealth, digital health, or healthcare Saa S
Strong understanding of patient journeys, intake flows, checkout, async care, prescription workflows, labs, pharmacy fulfillment, and provider operations
Experience translating business needs, customer feedback, and operational workflows into clear technical requirements
Excellent written communication skills, especially around specs, tickets, workflows, and acceptance criteria
Comfortable working closely with engineers, designers, customer success, implementation teams, and founders
Strong judgment around prioritization, tradeoffs, and customer impact
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through
Comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities can move quickly
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Nice to have
Experience at or around high-growth direct-to-consumer healthcare brands, telehealth clinics, EHR/EMR platforms, pharmacy/lab infrastructure providers, or healthcare marketplaces
Familiarity with HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA, or healthcare compliance
