As a Principal Consultant with ERM, you will be based in Vancouver, Calgary, Whitehorse, or Smithers, providing senior technical guidance on fisheries programs supporting major capital initiatives. Your expertise will ensure compliance with environmental standards and yield defensible project outcomes, while mentoring junior staff and developing fish habitat programs.
Key Responsibilities: • Shape fisheries programs for major capital projects • Ensure high-quality and defensible project deliverables • Advise various stakeholders as a trusted consultant • Mentor junior and intermediate staff members • Design fish habitat field programs across Canada
Requirements: • B. Sc. in Fisheries Biology or relevant discipline • Over 6 years of environmental consulting experience • Strong field experience in aquatic biology • Familiar with mining and oil & gas regulations • Willing to conduct fieldwork in remote areas
