Auxo is hiring a Principal Engineering Lead for a company building a portfolio of Saa S products and platforms at scale.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Product & Technology to shape technical direction across multiple teams. This is a high-impact IC role where you’ll influence architecture, raise engineering standards, and ensure systems are built to scale as the company grows.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys thinking at a system level, challenging decisions, and helping teams move faster without compromising quality.
What You’ll Do
Define and evolve technical strategy across multiple product teams
Review and influence architecture decisions to ensure scalability and consistency
Lead architecture discussions and participate in design reviews across the organization
Drive improvements in engineering standards, design patterns, and code quality
Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and improve system performance
Improve developer productivity through tooling, automation, and better workflows
Support teams in making strong technical decisions and tradeoffs
Partner with product to assess feasibility and shape technical roadmaps
Mentor engineers and tech leads on system design and architectural thinking
Act as a bridge between product and engineering to align business and technical goals
Who You Are
10+ years of experience in software engineering
3+ years in a senior technical leadership or architecture role
Strong experience designing and scaling distributed cloud systems
Deep understanding of modern architectures, APIs, and system design
Experience working in Saa S or product-driven environments
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, testing, and engineering best practices
Hands-on enough to challenge technical decisions and guide teams
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing without direct authority
Strong communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts
Comfortable operating in environments with multiple teams and stakeholders
