Position Overview: The President of Metro Wallcovering Business will have full responsibility for overseeing the Metro Wallcovering division, reporting directly to the CEO of Koroseal Interior Products. This role involves formulating overall strategy, managing personnel, and establishing policies to ensure the division’s growth and success. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful leader and confident decision-maker who helps develop our team, ensures productivity, and drives profitability.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership - Develop and communicate the company's strategic vision, mission, and objectives. Lead the team in setting and executing strategic initiatives to drive sustainable growth and profitability. Identify emerging market trends and opportunities for expansion, diversification, and innovation. Brand Management - Oversee the management and evolution of the company's brand. Develop and implement brand strategies to enhance brand awareness, loyalty, and market position. Ensure brand consistency across all locations and marketing channels. Operational Excellence - Drive operational efficiency and excellence across the organization. Develop and implement standardized operating procedures, training programs, and performance metrics to ensure consistent quality and guest satisfaction. Implement best practices and technology solutions to optimize operations and maximize profitability. Financial Managemen t- Manage the financial performance of the company. Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities for growth and profitability. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and vendors to optimize cost management.
Relationship Management - Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, industry partners, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with sister company (Koroseal Interior Products) departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align strategies and achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
10+ years of experience in business leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and building high-performing teams.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve goals and objectives.
Organizational and Leadership Skills: Outstanding organizational skills and leadership capabilities to manage teams effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth and innovation.
Knowledge of the wallcoverings industry and/or related industries is a plus.
Regular travel across Canada and to the US is required.
