Humans of HR is currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Plant Manager to oversee plant operations and lead a high-performing production team.
This role will be responsible for managing daily plant activities, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring production targets, safety standards, and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily plant operations including production, manufacturing, and operational processes
Plan, organize, and direct plant activities to meet production goals and customer expectations
Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and capacity utilization
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
Monitor operational metrics and performance targets to optimize plant performance
Work closely with leadership to implement operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
Address employee issues and support strong team leadership and engagement
Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on experience in operations or manufacturing leadership
Previous experience as a Plant Manager, General Manager, or senior operations leader
Strong understanding of production management, budgeting, and resource planning
Knowledge of safety, quality, and inventory processes
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills
Engineering or Operations Management degree preferred
