If you are a talented and experienced Plant Manager in the Calgary, Alberta area, Aplin has the right opportunity for you Responsibilities:

• Lead a team that includes 5 supervisors, an H&S coordinator, maintenance lead/manager (includes both salaried and hourly employees, as well as union employees)
• Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility (about 10-20% floor time)
• Promote and enforce safety, maintenance, and housekeeping programs
• Meet/exceed budget and KPIs
• Manage short-term and long-term labor efficiencies according to ongoing and scheduled plant demands
• Establish an effective management system to increase the efficiency and productivity in the management of warehouses and inventories
• Identify and recommend improvements to processes to maximize space utilization/layout and equipment usage Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5 years of plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years' experience in a fast-paced, large volume, high-intensity environment, with a high focus on meeting/exceeding measurable metrics
• 3+ years' experience managing a full budget process
• 3+ years' experience implementing continuous improvement programs
