We are looking to add a Pipeline TD to our team who will serve a key role in producing a cutting-edge, innovative animation pipeline! Our studio is located in the trendy Mount Pleasant area just a short walk away from the Main Street-Science World Skytrain Station. However, this position is fully remote! #WorkFromHome

 




Job Title: Pipeline TD (Remote)

 




What You’ll Do:
Take part in the design and development of a pipeline
Design and develop production tools and artist workflows (standalone and for Maya)
Understand, troubleshoot, and propose improvements to the current needs of the pipeline
Participate in code reviews and deploy version controlled code updates
Write and update technical documentation
Communicate in both a technical and artistic manner across multiple departments
Adhere to the company’s coding standards
Learn from experienced industry professionals
Work collaboratively and creatively with the pipeline team & mentor junior staff
 




What You Need:
2+ years production experience
Experience with Python object oriented programming
Experience creating UIs using PyQt/PySide
Experience with Maya
Strong understanding of 3D pipelines and artist workflows
Experience reviewing code and using code versioning tools such as GIT
Ability to take direction and provide a consistent quality of work
Highly organized with the ability to multitask
Strong documentation & communication skills both written and verbal



Nice To Have:
General understanding of USD
Experience with Rez Python package configuration
SQL database knowledge
UX\UI design experience
Unity & Unreal Engine experience
C++, C#
