Part-Time Housekeeper – 14 Hours/Week (2 Days) – Ottawa, Mc Kellar Heights

Family Description

We are a busy and welcoming household with three adults (2 parents ‍and 1 grandparent) and four primary school-aged children (ages 13, 11, 11, and 5 ‍‍‍). Our home is a spacious six-bedroom, four-bathroom residence with two kitchens , requiring regular upkeep to maintain a clean and organized living environment. We are a religious Jewish household ✡️ observing Kosher (dietary and dishes rules) and Shabbat ️️(we don't use electronics Friday night to Saturday night + holidays).

Role Description

We are looking for an independent, reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper ‍ to assist with household cleaning and organization on a part-time basis (14 hours per week, 2 days per week: Tuesdays and Fridays) in Ottawa, Mc Kellar Heights. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and efficiently to ensure a clean, organized, and well-maintained home.

Key Responsibilities: Laundry (washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens, changing sheets, etc)General cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Organizing common areas, bedrooms, and storage spaces☕ Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms and kitchens️ Taking out garbage, recycling, and compost as needed Bringing in packages that arrive at the house Tidying up after daily household activities️ Spring deep cleaning for Passover We do not expect childcare as a component of this work. This role is about cleaning and organizing. Qualifications & Skills: Experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred Strong laundry, cleaning, and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently and independently High attention to detail and time management skills Good communication skills and ability to take instructions Must be trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of privacy Additional Details:

Location: ️ On-site in Mc Kellar Heights, Ottawa

Schedule: Two days per week (Tuesday and Friday)

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage , based on experience. We are thinking $25/hour at 14 hours per week ($1400/month). We plan to pay via payroll.
