14 days onsite in Newfoundland (then 14 days off rotation)
Travel and accommodations and meals are provided by the client
12 month contract duration
Valid driver's license required due to travel to client sites
Provide onsite and remote support (i.e. connect to client systems remotely to trouble shoot issues)
Installation and maintenance of core Fortinet network
Design and maintain network topology
Server installation and maintenance
Install equipment in both indoor and outdoor conditions
Installation of cable and physical network
Analyze and troubleshoot issues onsite and/or remote via in person or over the phone.
Develop & maintain a set of standard operating procedures to ensure IT Health for the operating network
Record and report project progress to supervisor and communicate any issues or expected delays. Maintain professionalism and have a positive outgoing attitude at all times.
A degree or diploma in Computer Science or similar discipline.
Experience with Fortinet and Forti OS
Experience with Virtualization platforms such as v Sphere or Hyper V
3+ years’ experience in a similar role
2 years of recent computer, server, and network troubleshooting experience
Experience with M365 and Active Directory
