Senior Mining Engineer – Underground (Remote, Canada)

Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 (depending on experience)

About the Opportunity
Skyline Recruitment is working with a well-established and highly respected mining consulting firm to identify a Senior Mining Engineer with strong underground experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering high-quality technical work across a range of mining projects, with strong exposure to NI 43-101 studies, mine planning, and strategic project development .
Key Responsibilities Lead and support underground mine design and planning activities Contribute to NI 43-101 technical reports , including mining sections and OPEX/CAPEX estimates Develop mine schedules, layouts, and optimization strategies Utilize industry-standard software including Deswik, Auto CAD, and Vent Sim Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geology, geotechnical, and processing
Provide technical input across scoping, PEA, PFS, and FS-level studies Support project delivery and client engagement as required
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
10–20+ years of experience in mining engineering Strong background in underground mining (open-pit experience considered an asset) Experience working on or supporting operating mines (operator or site-based consulting) Proficiency with Deswik (essential), and familiarity with Auto CAD and/or Vent Sim Experience contributing to NI 43-101 reports (mining sections, cost estimates) Professional designation (P. Eng. ) or eligibility in Canada Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote consulting environment
