Company: Waterloo Hydrogeologic (the “Company” or “Waterloo Hydrogeologic”)Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Reports to: Water Business Sales Manager Position Summary The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for growing sales and generating new business for our commerical off-the-shelf envirnonmetal software and maintenance renewals by develping leads, acquiring new customers and following up with existing customers. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, results driven, and capable of thriving in a fast paced environment. The candidate will be based out of the Waterloo Hydrogeologic office in Waterloo, Ontario. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and contact new potential customers within the assigned territories; Research potential leads and build a pipeline of new business opportunities; Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Manager; Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers; Manage and track all sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system; Understand the customer needs and requirements; Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals to customers; Provide customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction; Implement approved strategic sales plans for assigned accounts; Work with distribution partners to reach existing and prospective customers; Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to the Sales Manager; Actively participate in cold calling/emailing sales processes; Employ proven customer upselling and customer retention techniques; Regular reporting on sales performance and other KPIs; Other duties may be assigned. Experience/Skills Minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience, preferably with software products; Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; Ability to multitask and prioritize with excellent time management proficiency; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Good negotiation and closing skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Experience with CRM software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365; The candidate must be self-motivated, structured with a results driven approach; Compensation Base Salary, commensurate with experience plus commission;3 weeks paid vacation time per year; Company Medical, Dental, Life, Disability and Retirement Company Background Waterloo Hydrogeologic specializes in assessing, developing and managing the world’s water resources using the most powerful and cost-effective software technologies available today.
