Rebound is a caring partner in the successful development of youth. Since 1984, Rebound has provided programs that encourage a positive response to self, others, and community. Rebound offers programs for youth and their parents/caregivers that are nationally recognized and proven effective. We offer a variety of volunteer positions. Rebound volunteers come from all walks of life, with various skills and reasons for wanting to volunteer and give back to the community. Rebound has opportunities for volunteers to assist with our youth programs, special events, board of directors, committees, as well as the theatre program. Volunteer Opportunities: Set Designer & Décor (2 Positions): Paint and decorate set pieces, paint backdrops, and refinish furniture. Lead in purchasing materials required. Responsible for designing the set, in collaboration with the team. Acting Consultant (1 Position, ages 12-24): Assist actors with character development, emotion, and the purpose of lines. Work alongside the director/mentee in teaching acting techniques. Costume Designer (1 Position): Lead in the creation of costumes. Collect costume measurements, purchase or create costumes, and communicate with staff regarding costume needs. Producer (2 Positions, age 17+): Organize marketing events for the production. Responsible for creating a front-of-house vision and overseeing event logistics. Community Projects: Red Carpet Ready: A community project collecting new and nearly-new formal dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories, providing them free of charge to area school students for major events.
