Responsibilities

Develop and execute the marketing promotional strategies to meet department objectives. Work closely with the Category Managers to promote their categories and establish the best strategies to maximize ROI. Coordinate with the Graphics, Web, SEO/SEM and merchandising teams to execute these plans.

- Assist in the development and implementation of the company's brand strategy;
- Support the Marketing Promotion Lead in implementing social media platforms content strategies, analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build online community across target geographical areas;
- Create, edit and publish engaging posts across multiple different social channels including Facebook and LinkedIn;
- Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including tracking capability, global contact directory, and intranet sites;
- Coordinate between the Category Managers, Graphics & Content Creation teams to ensure proper execution of marketing plans, flyer catalogues and promotions;
- Assist in the planning of meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts and developing schedules;
- Support the Marketing Promotions Lead & Category Managers in creating Advertising Packages by analyzing sales, setting objectives, organizing promotional presentations and updating calendars;
- In conjunction with the Category Managers team, develop a promotional calendar to meet sales objectives;

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related discipline;
- A minimum of 2 years' Marketing experience or a related field;
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing
- Excellent communications & creative writing skills
- Very high level of attention to detail and time management skills;
- Exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities;
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint;
- French/English bilingualism a definite asset.
