BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN


Dynacast Canada Inc located at 185 Voyageur in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, is actively looking for a Building Maintenance Technician to cover the preventive and corrective maintenance of the building and of the equipment. This is a permanent position at 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Position to be filled as soon as possible.



Responsibilities:

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment related to the building and services to ensure its proper functioning.

Plan maintenance activities to be compatible with general plant operations.

Coordinate preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance of all plant equipment and infrastructure.

Perform minor repairs, general maintenance, and housekeeping.

Develops and adheres to the building's preventive maintenance schedule.

Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues

Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities

Detection of any problem to ensure the safety, health, and comfort of the premises.

Ensure that working methods meet current safety standards

Perform any other related tasks



Core qualifications and skills required:

2 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment or other relevant experience

Technical program, certificate or equivalent in relevant field
Read and understand plans, specifications, and technical documentation

A sense of diligence and autonomy

Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
