Role Overview As a member of the testing team, you will apply your analytical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems, chemistry, and biology to ensure our Globe Mapping and Ablation System is sterile, biocompatible, and effective. You will work closely with a collaborative team, gaining hands-on experience in the development, commercialization, and support of a complex medical device. This position is a hybrid role based in Burnaby, BC. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute tests to evaluate cleaning efficacy, optimize production, and validate methods Prepare test articles and document processes Interpret and report data for biological safety evaluations Communicate with external labs and interpret reports Analyze data using statistical tools like Excel and Minitab Author test protocols and reports for regulatory submissions Collaborate with risk, quality, and design teams to assess changes and investigate root causes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or applied science with 2+ years of experience Strong skills in mathematics, statistics, and analysis tools Excellent documentation and communication skills Innovative problem-solving attitude Interest or knowledge in chemistry or biochemistry is a plus Proactive, independent work ethic Team-oriented with good communication skills Compensation and Benefits The total annual compensation ranges from $75,000 to $105,000 CAD, including base salary and a 5% RRSP contribution.
