The Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at Markham Stouffville Hospital, is recruiting an Acute Care Urologist (ACU). The role involves evaluating and managing semi-acute and acute conditions in the emergency department, providing inpatient urological services, and surgical assisting. Access to hospital resources, including operating and cystoscopy/minor procedure time, will be available.

The ACU will participate in designated daily and weekend on-call coverage within the Division of Urology. Qualifications include:

• License to practice independently in Ontario from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO);


• Urology certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
