About the Job:
We’re looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Snow Removal Team for the upcoming winter season. This is an on-call position — hours and shift lengths depend on snowfall frequency and accumulation. For the right candidates, this position can transition into full-time employment come spring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet at our shop before 6:00 AM so our crews can be on-site by 6:00 AM.
-Perform snow shoveling, salting, and general snow and ice management at commercial and residential properties.
- Operate snow blowers, shovels, and other related equipment (training provided if needed).
- Work safely and efficiently, often in cold, and early-morning conditions.
Requirements:
- Clean, valid driver’s license (must provide abstract upon request)
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Cell phone for communication updates
- Punctuality and dependability are essential. Those who are undependable will be replaced.
- Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required by weather conditions. The only exceptions are December 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st and January 1st are given off.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors for extended periods
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage, based on experience
- Paid Bi-weekly
Schedule:
- On-call, weather dependent
- Typically between November and April
- Potential for full-time, year-round employment for strong performers
