Join our growing team where everyone belongs!What You Will Do Provide underwriting exceptions to specialty line guidelines when necessary while maintaining a profitable portfolio Revising existing underwriting guidelines and/or establishing new underwriting guideline while ensuring its within the organization’s risk appetite Conduct audits and generate audit reports Maintain in-force policies and ensure all policies are issued within service standards with the appropriate wordings, schedules, and certificates attached Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with MGAs by providing exceptional customer service Provide exceptional customer service by answering telephone inquiries, making outgoing calls, respond to emails and/or faxes as may be required Track and produce daily, weekly and monthly production activity reports Who You Are Post-secondary education in a related field and/or a CIP designation is required. Working towards FCIP or CRM designation is an asset. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial lines underwriting Bilingual; k nowledge of English at an intermediate level is required in addition to French, as this position requires oral and written communication with our customers, partners and other Echelon Assurance Canada teams located across Canada.
