Job Title Preflight Mechanical Inspector (Hampstead) – Airbus Canada Limited Partnership
Job Summary We are seeking experienced preflight mechanical inspectors for our A220 commercial aircraft program located in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. The role involves inspecting airframes, engines, and functional equipment to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of airframes, engines, and functional equipment to ensure compliance with standards and specifications indicated on plans and manuals.
Approve aircraft or components within authority.
Manage all files, registrations, and applicable regulations for aircraft.
Maintain logbooks for aircraft audits and perform other related duties.
Perform additional functions as required based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
ADEC, AEC in aircraft maintenance or equivalent with 5 years of experience; or
An M2 license with 10 years of experience; or
Minimum 5 years experience as a preflight mechanic (460 internally) within the last 5 years.
Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, and ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work in enclosed spaces and at heights up to 30 feet regularly.
Physical flexibility to adopt and maintain required positions.
