We are currently seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations and help drive a positive employee experience across the organization. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting employee relations, recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance, performance management, policy administration, and HR programs.
This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to build strong relationships with employees and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & HR Support
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns
Support managers with employee relations matters, performance conversations, and corrective action processes
Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Participate in employee engagement and retention initiatives
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain employee files and HRIS records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Ensure compliance with employment standards, workplace policies, and applicable labor laws
Support policy implementation and employee handbook updates
Assist with audits, reporting, and HR documentation
Performance Management & Employee Development
Support performance review cycles and employee development initiatives
Track employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements
Assist leadership with succession planning and employee growth programs
Payroll & Benefits Support
Partner with payroll and benefits providers to support employee inquiries and changes
Assist with benefits administration, leave tracking, and employee documentation
Ensure accurate processing of HR-related payroll changes
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or Human Resources role
Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Excellent communication skills in English (French language skills are an asset)
Preferred
Knowledge of US employment law and HR practices
Background in fast-paced, high-growth environments
CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent HR certification
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience supporting multi-location or international organizations
Experience with change management and organizational transformation
