As we scale our business through the next stage of growth the Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing our HR functions, supervising 1 direct report. This role reports directly to the HR Director, acting as an advisor while building, enhancing, and delivering key people operations processes. You will be responsible for the growth and strategic planning in all people-related matters including recruitment, training & development planning, performance & talent management, data management, people analytics.




Responsibilities:
Manage, plan, and execute full-cycle recruitment: screening and hiring of all personnel including completion of background checks.
Provide strategies to enhance new hire orientation/onboarding experience
Partner with Marketing dept to enhance employer branding
Oversee ADP Payroll processing & Benefits Administration; involved in system/plan design
Front-line employee relationship liaison
Conduct employee performance-evaluations and complete check-ins
Update and develop policies, procedures, manuals, and protocols
Assist with data analysis for department planning as it relates to human resource functions: Talent development needs and performance growth planning
Assist in developing talent management initiatives and matrixing initiatives
Ensure compliance on Health and Safety activities & ESA
Plan initiatives with the HR team such as employee events, employee recognition programs and activities to include the planning, facilitation, monitoring and execution of co-op and internship programs & CSR programs
What You Bring to the Table:
Passion to make an impact and ability to adapt to quick changing requirements
3 years + HR Generalist experience
Strong cross collaboration & communication skills
Tech/start-up recruitment experience strongly desired
ADP Workforce Now experience
Graduate HR degree or diploma; CHRP optional
Strong analytical & presentation skills
Highly motivated attitude with ability to adapt to changes and problem solve efficiently
productivity tools from Microsoft and Google (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Google Docs, PDF)

    North York is one of six administrative districts of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located directly north of York, Old Toronto and East York, between Etobicoke to the west and Scarborough to the east. As of the 2016 Census, it had a population of 869,401. It was first created as a township in 1922 out of the northern part of the former township of York, a municipality that was located along the western border of Old Toronto.
