Perhaps you’re a fresh graduate looking for their first real gig, and are driven to make a difference in people’s lives. Maybe you’ve been in the workforce for a while and are looking for a career shift. Either way, you’re interested to work in an environment filled with opportunity and excitement, where you can make a lasting impact on a human level.

If the above sounds like you, we have a job opportunity for you.
We’re  CannaConnect , one of Canada’s leading medical cannabis clinics, focusing specifically on military veterans, RCMP and First Responders. We are passionate about connecting individuals suffering from medical conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain with a trusted network of physicians and licensed cannabis producers. Our mission is to provide personalized care for individuals looking to improve their quality of life by educating them how to effectively use medical cannabis, planting the seeds for a more natural path to health and wellness.
With this in mind, we’re looking for a Clinic Manager to support our mission by providing tailored education and patient support services to both new and existing patients at our wellness lounge in Regina.

Full-Time - Clinic Manager

Here at CannaConnect, we specialized in providing a safe and caring environment for our veteran clientele. Our clinics offer a unique cross between medical clinic and wellness lounge, allowing our patients to feel taken care of from a professional standpoint, while also enjoying an environment that is fun and inviting. As a Clinic Manager you will be a key contributor to all things related to patient care, as well as being host/facilitator to anything going on in our wellness lounge. You will work closely with our Veteran ambassadors in the clinic and with programming. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new patients, arranging their appointments with physicians, performing follow up calls and updating their files when necessary. You’ll also provide our clients with the information and education they need to handle medical cannabis safely and effectively. In addition to the patient-related services, you will also be responsible for helping to organize and run social events in our wellness lounge. This may include the occasional weekend or evening event. Some of your time will also be spent helping the team in head office.
This will be a great opportunity if you are:

Personable : not only do you love to talk, you love to connect with people. You have a knack for drawing people’s attention and can make conversations with anybody you encounter.

Detail Oriented : you don’t like making little mistakes, and make sure that client files are accurate and free of any oversights.

Driven : organizational and personal success is always on your mind: it’s what fuels you to strive for greater achievement.

Working at CannaConnect
Since we deal with medical cannabis, you probably think that we’re a relaxed, easy-going bunch working in a fun atmosphere. You’d be correct! Not only do we look for capable candidates to carry out our mission, we look for people who can be a good fit for us.
We hold our clients’ feedback highly, and the same goes towards our staff. Speak up if you have an idea that can make us better. We’re in a start-up industry – and we’ve been around for most of it – and as it matures, there will be opportunities to grow and expand our operations, you could play a pivotal part in that.
We believe in making a difference in people’s lives. We invite all like-minded applicants to join us on this journey.

Compensation and Qualifications

This is a full-time position. You will work at 1433 Hamilton St, Regina, SK, S4R 7V4. This is position will require 40 hours of work, with some evenings and weekends required.

Health care or healthcare is the maintenance or improvement of health via the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, illness, injury, and other physical and mental impairments in human beings. Healthcare is delivered by health professionals (providers or practitioners) in allied health professions, physicians, physician associates, dentistry, midwifery, nursing, medicine, optometry, audiology, pharmacy, psychology, and other health professions. It includes the work done in providing primary care, secondary care, and tertiary care, as well as in public health. Access to health care may vary across countries, groups, and individuals, largely influenced by social and economic conditions as well as the health policies in place. Countries and jurisdictions have different policies and plans in relation to the personal and population-based health care goals within their societies. Healthcare systems are organisations established to meet the health needs of target populations. Their exact configuration varies between national and subnational entities. In some countries and jurisdictions, health care planning is distributed among market participants, whereas in others, planning occurs more centrally among governments or other coordinating bodies. In all cases, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), a well-functioning healthcare system requires a robust financing mechanism; a well-trained and adequately paid workforce; reliable information on which to base decisions and policies; and well maintained health facilities and logistics to deliver quality medicines and technologies.
