Position Summary

As a member of the Brookfield Infrastructure Finance and Operations team, you will report to the Manager, Finance and work alongside a strong team to build 'best in class's practices for Infrastructure's $25 billion flagship fund. The role is broad in scope and will provide exposure in accounting, financial reporting, financial performance measurement, and treasury functions. This is an exciting time as the fund is early in its investment period, with substantial capital to deploy, giving the candidate exposure to complex high profile transaction closes

Responsibilities


• Actively participate in the day-to-day operations of the fund, including but not limited to, treasury and operation functions and managing liquidity;


• Preparation and tie-out of quarterly financial statements


• Monthly/quarterly review of single entity and combined fund journal entries;


• Managing the annual audit process;


• Account Reconciliation


• Preparation of annual tax financial statements;


• Assist in capital events inclusive of review of distribution and capital notices;


• Ad-hoc analysis and presentations on Fund financial, impact and operational results;

Requirements


• University degree in Business or Finance


Mandatory Requirement: Completed CFE or working towards completion of recognized professional accounting designation (CPA);


• Must have a minimum of one year's working experience in finance and/or accounting functions;


• Experience with account reconciliation, audit, journal entries


• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.


• One to three years of experience in private funds considered an asset;


• Curious learner and demonstrate flexibility to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment to adapt quickly, problem-solve and manage changing priorities;


• Superior communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills;


• Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines;
