Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a hands‑on SQL‑focused developer who works primarily at the data layer, supporting data transformation, cleansing, and preparation within SQL Server environments. This role is not a reporting‑only position — strong SQL programming experience is mandatory.
Day to day
Writing and maintaining complex SQL / T‑SQL code
Developing and optimizing:
Stored procedures
Views
Tables
Transforming, cleaning, deduplicating, and preparing data within SQL Server
Moving and structuring data for downstream reporting use
Working within a SQL database / data warehouse environment
Supporting reporting teams by providing clean, structured data
Supporting Power BI / Tableau reporting

Skills and Requirements
5–7 years of hands‑on experience
Strong hands‑on experience with SQL Server / T‑SQL
Proven experience writing stored procedures and SQL logic
Experience working with data warehouses or SQL databases
Data transformation and cleansing experience in SQL
Comfortable debugging SQL logic and handling data quality issues
Exposure to Power BI and/or Tableau
Exposure to Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses
Familiarity with ELT / ELT concepts and Azure data platforms
Awareness of Microsoft Fabric or modern BI ecosystems
Experience supporting enterprise or multi‑source BI environments
