Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a bustling legal practice, focusing on Civil and Commercial Litigation.
- Create, revise, and finalize all essential correspondences and documents.
- Assist in preparing various litigation documents for Civil, Commercial, Divisional, and Court of Appeal cases, such as motion records, pleadings, notices, affidavits, affidavits of documents, and bill of costs.
- Deliver work of the highest quality standard.
- Manage daily administrative tasks.
- Handle accounting-related duties.
- Uphold accountability for all assigned tasks.
- Coordinate meetings and manage calendars.
- Display initiative and a proactive attitude.
- Maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience as a Legal Assistant (Litigation)
- Successful completion of a relevant post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Previous familiarity with Caselines and ACL.
- Ability to thrive in time-sensitive situations with multiple demands.
