Our team helps our clients assess and optimize the effectiveness of their Human Resources functions and create return on their human capital investment.As a Human Capital Consultant at RSM, you will work with mid-sized businesses in diverse industries and receive hands-on client experience with direct access to executive management.  You will have the resources and cross-functional support of the leader in the middle market in an environment which will allow you to bring your ideas and experience in both shaping our client solutions as we grow our Human Capital practice. Working in a mutually respectful team environment helps our consultants perform at their best and advance their career and professional capabilities.Responsibilities:Assist in the design and execution of projects to help optimize all elements of the organization including but not limited to: HR Transformation, HR Outsourcing, HRIS Implementation, Organizational Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Talent Attraction and RetentionCoach, lead and develop other members of the team in project activities as well as their general career growth and developmentParticipate in the development of proposals and business development activitiesAssist in developing new market relevant tools, methodologies, products and deliverables for the rapidly changing environment in Human ResourcesAssist in preparing engagement/project financials Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, HRIS, Management, or Finance from an accredited universityMinimum  6+ years of experience working in a large organization, professional services firm or CPA firm working as a Human Resource Generalist or Human Capital ConsultantUnderstanding of the HR function and capabilities (including capabilities, processes, technology, operating model design, strategic competencies, policies, etc.)Experience in at least two of the following focus areas:HR TransformationHR OutsourcingHR Technology selectionOrganizational DesignHR Compensation and PayrollHR Policies and ComplianceStrategic Workforce Planning and OptimizationTalent Attraction and RetentionEmployee ExperienceMergers & AcquisitionsExperience in the development of deliverables and reports and selling consulting workAbility to travelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS VisioPreferred Qualifications:Experience in leading HR Transformation, HR Outsourcing, Organizational Assessment & Design, Workforce Optimization, and Talent Attraction and RetentionFunctional understanding of HRIS systemsExperience in leading the growth and development of consulting staffExperience in growing and developing a human capital service offeringExperience serving clients across multiple industries and consult on Human ResourcesDeep understanding of the contemporary trends impacting human resources and the future of work.
