Who you are: Junior Financial Analyst Reporting to the Finance Manager, this individual is responsible for initiating and processing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining relationships with banking partners, administering the investment funding process, preparing and maintaining loan schedules and assisting with other treasury and finance related activities as needed.
The Junior Financial Analyst is also tasked with the timely preparation of financial reports including annual net worth statements, cashflow and estate liquidity for shareholders, documents for quarterly Investment Committee meetings and semi-annual reporting for private company investments.
Treasury-related transactions Initiate and process banking transactions for various entities.
This will include cash transfers, deposits, wire transfers, foreign exchange transactions, opening and closing bank accounts, managing inter-company cash transfers and settlements and developing good relationships with banking and investing partners.
Responsibilities also include administering the on-line banking platform, maintaining loan schedules, and completing the end-to-end investment funding process.
Reporting Responsibilities: Prepare annual, semi-annual, monthly and weekly financial reports including but not limited to annual net worth statements and quarterly liquidity and cashflow statements for shareholders.
The Junior Financial Analyst is also expected to prepare and maintain long-term forecasts for net worth, cash flow and estate liquidity.

It is expected that the Junior Financial Analyst behaves with the utmost discretion, maintaining a high level of confidentiality due to regular exposure to sensitive and private information.

The Junior Financial Analyst will be expected to proactively complete tasks and responsibilities, aware of schedules and critical deadlines.
Ability to Prioritize – The Junior Financial Analyst will have a well-developed ability to identify and distinguish between urgent tasks, important tasks and operational tasks.
Communication skills (listening, verbal and written).
The Junior Financial Analyst will have a proven ability to work well with individuals at every level of the organization, build trusting relationships with external partners and with shareholders.
Verbal and written proficiency in English is required.
Ability to work autonomously while accepting direction as needed Experience initiating and executing treasury related tasks (performing all banking transactions, maintaining accounts) Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting Interpersonal skills within a hybrid team environment – Comfortable working remotely and in the office as required Attention to detail Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook Intermediate/Advanced Excel Education: Minimum college degree in a finance related program Experience: 1-2 years in finance related role is preferred.
