Description

6-Month Contract

This position is responsible for the management of workflow throughout all departments within Blue Giant.

Working directly with the Supervisor of Finance Operations Support, the successful candidate will optimize daily activities and performance of the business across the board.

Responsibilities include handling Aftermarket and Equipment (LLC), work order packets, including generating, managing, and closing work orders. Working closely with the Production, Engineering, and Procurement team members to deliver accurate work orders packets and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities also includes Inventory management, Inventory Analysis, and cycle count investigation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Work Order Management

  • Accountable for creating WOs packet for LLC equipment; following schedule and the lead time.
  • Accountable for creating WO package & closing Work Orders for Aftermarket parts.
  • Assist Junior Analyst with creating & closing Work Orders for Kanban parts based on demand.
  • Working with production and engineering team to help in resolving error in Bill of Material and Drawing.
  • Assisting KPO team (Production Supervisors) with additional requests.
  • Evaluating internal deficiencies and analysis of optimal procedures.
  • Working with the team to implement Production Metrics for ongoing efficiencies.

Inventory Analytics

  • Inventory control – Assist in monthly cycle count and annual inventory count (i.e. planning, organizing and valuating)
  • Working with the Supervisor and the team, in the implementation of Inventory Controls to optimize system quantity and valuation.
  • Working with the Purchasing/Procurement Team to help in Inventory allocation and management.
  • Assisting in the ongoing organization of Material Planning and Inventory Control
  • Labour reporting
  • Assist with analyzing daily labour report.
  • Analyze the direct/indirect hours and take appropriate action for deficiency.

Project Management

  • Identifying and assessing deficiencies in the Operational and Production processes, and having a key role in the implementation of corresponding resolutions
  • Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Thorough documentation of findings and analysis
  • Assisting in the implementation of internal controls over manufacturing and production operations
  • Adapting to changing environments and being a strong link between Operations and Finance

ERP

  • Mastering and managing company's ERP system and new software programs on an ongoing basis
  • Accountable for maintaining ERP system for Parts and Planning.

Additional

  • Assisting the Finance Team with consistent and timely operational reporting, to assist in decision making.
  • Keeping up to date with new operational and financial knowledge, procedures, and opportunities

REQUIRED STRENGTH

  • 1 to 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply chain or Business management
  • Excellent Organizational, Time management, Analytical and Communication skills
  • Professional appearance and manner
  • Exceptional work ethic

Salary

  • $45-55k
