This role sits within Laurentian Bank, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for business development within a group of clients and prospects, risk management and portfolio profitability for the Commercial Financing team in the Greater Montreal area. The incumbent will offer types of commercial financing, such as operating lines of credit, equipment loans, homeowner loans, FX solutions and deposits.

ºMaintain and solidify business relationships with a portfolio of existing clients.
ºBuild a network of prospects and business partners to make the financing portfolio even more profitable.
ºTarget financing needs and other products offered by the Bank for clients and prospects.
ºRecommend suitable banking structure strategies to clients.
ºPerform preliminary risk analyses to ensure that the structure is consistent with the Bank's policies, programs, procedures and values (proximity, simplicity and honesty).
ºDetermine pricing based on the financial strength of the files.
ºPresent letters of intent to clients and prospects.
ºNegotiate terms and conditions and win transactions with customers, prospects and the credit department.
ºCollaborate with the portfolio manager in credit underwriting.
ºComplete the full lifecycle of a financing request (prospecting, evaluation, credit, legal).
ºApply sound risk management to every file and work with the relevant departments to protect the Bank's interests.
ºWork alongside the legal and credit departments.
ºPerform all other tasks requested by his or her supervisor or required for the job.
ºUniversity degree in a related field
ºFive to eight years of postgraduate experience (candidates with three to five years of relevant experience could be considered for the Account Manager position)
ºAccounting designation, MBA, Master's degree, CFA in progress, an asset
