Description

Precision ERP / Precision IT is seeking a Dynamics 365 F&O Application Developer, who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customizations and integrations within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. You will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality ERP solutions that support financial and operational business processes.



Canadidates must be eligible for a Secret Federal Security clearance, which means you would need to have a minimum of 10 years of history within Canada.


Tasks:
Develop, customize and maintain solutions within Dynamics 365 F&O using X++,. NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
Collaborate with peers in Scrum team to understand requirements
Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.
Design and implement integrations between D365 F&O and external systems (e.g., Azure services, Power Platform, third-party APIs).
Verify accuracy and completeness of solution by preparing sample data and test plans
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, promotion and deployment activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in customizations and integrations.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Stay current with Microsoft Service updates, best practices, and new features in the D365 ecosystem.
Develop technical specifications for ERP systems development, design and implementation
Coach, mentor and train the organization to perform any of the above



Mandatory Requirements:
10 years of history in Canada (eligible for Secret Federal clearance)
Hands-on development experience in D365 Finance & Operations Cloud
Hands on experience working in multi-environment Application Lifecycle Management role (DEV, QA, Pre Prod & PROD)
Hands on experience supporting D365 Finance and Operations in the context an organizations critical ERP system



Desirable experience:
3–7 years of experience in D365 F&O development.
Proficiency in X++ and Visual Studio.
Strong experience with extensions, customizations, and integrations in D365 F&O.
Strong experience with Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure Dev Ops, code branches, pipelines and version control systems.
Experience in understanding business uses of D365 F&O modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Software knowledge in Process Mapping Software (e.g., MS Visio), Share Point, Dynamics AX/D365 ERP, Azure Dev Ops, MS SQL Server Database.
Knowledge of Cloud and networking in a hybrid environment
