Business Development Manager - Recruitment Partners is on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Business Development Manager in the oil and gas industry, specializing in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. As a Business Development Manager with expertise in selling into the oil and gas markets, you will be a vital member of the team, responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities, fostering key industry relationships, and driving revenue growth in Alberta. Your role will be instrumental in expanding the client's presence in EPC and oil and gas construction projects.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Market Analysis: Ability to conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive threats within the Alberta oil and gas sector.
  • Client Acquisition: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities by leveraging your industry contacts and utilizing effective sales strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the Alberta oil and gas industry.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations that address client needs and showcase our capabilities.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms and agreements for both parties.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, market insights, and progress toward objectives.

Your strengths include:

  • 5+ years' of proven success in business development, sales, and account management
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Established network and contacts within the Alberta oil and gas sector
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative to drive results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives
