Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining a profitable book of business within the underwriting authority
Involved in ensuring that renewals, endorsements, and cancellations are within guidelines and set standards
Maintain good relationships with brokers to ensure retention and growth of business
Ability to analyze new market trends, understand and implement company procedures, and develop new opportunities for expansion
Mentoring junior underwriters
Providing support to managers and assisting in developing additional guidelines
Requirements: Must have at least 10 years of commercial underwriting experience
Experience in handling mid to large complex risks
Great communication skills and good at building broker relationships
*Salary will be between $100,000 to $125,000
