Our cutting‑edge technologies and solutions are trusted by military and commercial customers worldwide. We are currently seeking a Senior Electro‑Mechanical Technician to join our Ottawa‑based team.
What will you be doing?
Build electro‑mechanical assemblies with high levels of quality.
Ensure soldering and electrical looming is carried out to a high standard.
Manufacture cable assemblies and electrical installation of wiring looms.
Read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings, general assembly instructions schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans.
Document BOMs, drawings, and electrical schematics.
Support engineering activities such as design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro‑mechanical systems.
Verify adherence to specifications and requirements with in‑process and final inspection.
What do we need from you?
Experience within a manufacturing environment ideally aerospace or robotics.
Proven experience in electro‑mechanical assembly.
Highly proficient with hand soldering, crimping and jointing skills.
Previously certified to IPC‑A-610, J‑STD‑001 would be preferred.
Ability to read Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) would be an asset.
Experience with JIRA software is considered beneficial.
Experience working with AS9100 D or ISO/TS 16949 quality systems is considered an asset.
