About The Role
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring between three and five years of experience in electrical estimating, with a strong command of Accubid software and a solid understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies. This role involves preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, reviewing project plans and specifications, and working closely with project managers to ensure that scopes and budgets are aligned and complete. The successful candidate will also ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Beyond technical expertise, this role requires someone with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, who can confidently represent the company and build strong relationships with clients. A background in Commercial, Institutional, and Healthcare projects is essential, along with a hands-on understanding of the electrical field and strong industry connections.
What You Need To Do
To thrive in this role, the candidate should have a proven track record in electrical estimating, ideally with mid-to large-sized contractors. Proficiency in Accubid is a must, as is a deep understanding of electrical systems and construction practices. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong local network, a practical background in electrical work, and the ability to analyze labour productivity to help drive company success. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset, are key to excelling in this position.
