Posting Summary: Competition Number 20252063 SS. Position Title: MUTQ 285-001 - Woodwind Techniques (2/3 stipend) - Winter 2026. Faculty/Department: Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance. Unit: Media, Art, and Performance-Music. Employee Group: URFA CUPE 5791. Job Family: Category Sessional. Number of Vacancies: 1. Position Summary: Basic techniques for playing and teaching all woodwind instruments.
Position Requirements: The successful candidate should possess a Master’s degree in woodwind performance or professional experience in all of the following: flute, saxophone, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon. University teaching experience is preferred.
Physical Demands: Pay Grade Faculty Sessional. Salary Range: As per URFA Collective Agreement. Status: Term. Work Hours: MUTQ 285-001 is currently scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00‑10:15 – on campus. Course Modality: N/A. Duration (if Term/Temporary): Full-Time/Part-Time. Other Preference: Posting No Preference. Target Posting: Not Targeted.
