The Data & Analytics organization seeks a highly motivated and proactive individual for the position of Director, Strategy and Relationships. This role acts as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to internal teams, embedding data and analytics perspectives into their core processes. You will support the development and refinement of the Data & Analytics strategic plan, champion the team’s expertise and value, and help stakeholders navigate resources effectively. The goal is to build a world-class Data & Analytics culture across Thomson Reuters.
About The Role
As Director, Strategy and Relationships, your focus will include:
- Strategic Planning Support: Help define and refine the data and analytics strategic plan aligned with company goals, collaborating with senior leadership to ensure it is actionable and measurable. Assist in setting Objectives and Key Results, and measure performance against the plan.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement model to facilitate communication and collaboration, understanding needs and expectations, and monitoring satisfaction levels.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across departments, becoming the go-to resource for data and analytics needs.
- Value Framework: Create and own a value framework to quantify business impact, establish guidelines, and communicate value effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Embed Early & Often: Integrate into strategic planning and project phases to ensure data considerations are addressed from the start.
- Communicate Value and Showcase Success: Articulate the team’s value proposition, share success stories, and demonstrate tangible business outcomes.
- Facilitate Seamless Collaboration: Bridge stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring project alignment.
About You
You are a fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Analytics, or related; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with data and analytics teams is highly desirable.
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Experience engaging with senior executives.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex relationships.
- Expertise in financial analysis, project management, and process optimization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and trust-building ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information
In the US, the salary range is $154,000 - $286,000, with potential bonuses. Benefits meet or exceed legal requirements and include various insurance options, savings plans, and wellness resources.
