We are looking for a healthcare business analyst to join our team of consultants in the Montreal office. This position is in hybrid mode. Functional expertise we are focused on right now:- Patient Appointment Bookingo Involves the configuration side to define booking slots, resource requirements, provider schedules, etc.o Front-end for booking appointments (cancel, rebook, book series appointments, group appointments)o Appreciation for some of the data that needs to be captured and reported about appointments- Procedure and Medication Order flowso More focused on Hospital environment, but also involving clinic and outpatient orders- Knowledge of workflows and documentation of order fulfillment (normal case and exceptional case)- Knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT (not Insurance)- Prior experience as a business analyst, clinical informaticist or system analyst- Working knowledge of techniques to document business requirements (User Stories, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, etc.)- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to read and understand regulatory documents and translate to business requirements- Passion for details that you can balance with business realities- Experience with Jira and Confluence- Knowledge and awareness of Canadian healthcare- Bi-lingual English / French is a plus
