Our client sells tailor-made marketing programs used by banks, insurance companies, retailers, and others to build customer loyalty. We are looking for a business development rep in Montreal who is used to selling a service with a sales cycle in excess of 12 months and selling value rather than price. This role is to find and nurture net new business. Territory: Province of Quebec Workplace: 3 days at downtown Montreal office + 2 days at home Products/Services: Marketing services Commissions/Bonus: 25%-30% on base, overachievement possible Other Benefits: Group insurance paid by employer RRSP with employer contribution Closed between Christmas and New Year's Company share purchase plan Employee assistance program Birthday is off Responsibilities Identify prospects based on our qualified profiles Work on RFPs with internal teams and manage the process Design a strategic plan for market penetration and execute Qualify opportunities and generate proposals By being creative, you will find solutions for prospects Negotiate agreements Manage, simultaneously, multiple, short-term and long-term opportunities Collaborate with internal resources especially project managers and upper management Participate in industry events where you will build knowledge and contacts Update company CRM regularly Meet company-set quarterly objective Qualifications Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%Languages: French and English Training: Full on the job training provided Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required Years of experience: At least 5 years consultative sales experience Has successfully sold into sales cycle greater than 12 months and with a total value of at least $500,000 You have a solutions selling mindset You have a successful track record of new business sales Job details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industries: Insurance, Banking, and Advertising Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Sirius Personnel by 2x
