Description:


Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Fleet Safety and Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all day to day safety programs and regulatory fleet compliance. The successful candidate will ensure Health & Safety protocols are executed in accordance with Company procedures and MTO (Ministry of Transportation) regulations. The incumbent will also track and report on KPIs relevant to Health, Safety & Compliance.

Today we have an opportunity for you to join us as a Fleet Safety & Compliance Coordinator at our office in Oakville, ON. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday), reporting to the Logistics Manager. 


In addition to the primary responsibilities noted above, you will also be required to perform a variety of job duties to support logistics and operations: 


      Key Responsibilities:



Provide daily support to all parts of the business for any fleet related inquiries or requests.


Receive driver trip sheets and upload driver hours accurately into TMS (time sensitive).


Assist drivers with expense processing.


Provide technical support and troubleshooting to assist drivers in navigating the KeepTrucking ELD system.


Educate drivers on Company policies and assist with organizing employee functions such as driver meetings.


Perform audits on driver Hours of Service (HOS) from electronic logging device (ELD), based on records loaded in electronic logging devices to ensure regulatory compliance.


Conduct ongoing audits and trend analysis for driver telematics.


Generate monthly reports analyzing various driver telematics, at the request of the Logistics Manager.


Investigate Ministry of Transportation (MTO) violations in a timely manner, with support and oversight from the Logistics Manager. 


Assist in providing onboarding training for new drivers. 


Assign errant driver statuses and disconnects to the appropriate drivers. 


Manage ELD assets and driver databases. 


Maintain records of driver abstracts and commercial vehicle operator registrations (CVORs), and assist with MTO licensing process. 



       Qualifications:



Minimum high school diploma and/or experience in the logistics and transportation industry. 


Ability to work with limited supervision and to take discretionary action as required. 


Demonstrated ability to provide (technical) assistance and education to business (industry) associates/customers/general public and colleagues in a clear and understandable manner.


Professional manner, tact, diplomacy and discretion in dealing with clients, vendors and associates including senior management.
