We are looking for a PLM Solution Architect to join our team in the Montreal region!

Role & responsibilities:
As a PLM Solutions Architect, you will be a key player in the design, implementation and evolution of IT solutions supporting engineering activities, in a complex, constantly changing environment. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure viable, secure architectures aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Actively participate in projects as an architecture referent, supporting project managers to deliver robust solutions within deadlines, cost and quality expectations.
Understand business challenges, formalize functional requirements via architecture diagrams (interactions, flows, interfaces, etc.).
Define the functional and application architecture, ensuring complete coverage of business needs.
Design the technical architecture (infrastructure, middleware, cloud, security...), in coordination with internal experts and/or external partners.
Contribute to project planning by identifying gaps between the existing landscape (as‑is) and the defined target (to‑be).
Be a driving force behind innovative and sustainable solutions, based on the latest available technologies.
Carry out architectural risk analyses and propose mitigation plans.
Participate in the Enterprise Architecture effort by identifying redundancies and gaps, and updating IT repositories.
Lead or contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions: training, demonstrations, POCs, technology watch, etc.
Qualifications:
Degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
Proven experience (5 to 10 years) in end‑to‑end solutions architecture, from concept to commissioning, ideally in PLM environments.
Solid knowledge of information systems and business models.
Expertise in modern IT technologies and architecture principles (components, services, security, cloud).
In‑depth knowledge of PLM environments and associated tools (ideally CATIA).
In‑depth knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ZACHMAN) and Agile practices.
To acquire experience in different critical industries and projects while working for the same company.
