Job Description Job SummaryThe technician will have to install and configure workstations, software, as well as various peripherals. He/she will also provide technical support for any incidents or requests that are assigned to him/her. He/she will also participate in different projects related to workstations.ResponsibilitiesProcess and update all assigned user incidents and service requests and meet established deadlinesProvide technical support to users for problems related to the use of the company’s IT systemsDiagnose problems with computers or their peripherals and recommend or implement solutions to correct theseTrain the users in the use of computer equipment, software and other peripheralsPerform workstation configuration and delivery according to established proceduresParticipate in user’s relocation (unplugging workstations, reinstalling, configuring printers, updating client files)Perform tests on new installation or deployment proceduresDocument user support procedures (writing simple processes and training documents) according to the established formatKnow the user support procedures specific to the various sites covered by the IT groupRequirementsDiplomaCollegial diploma in information technology0-2 years of experienceTechnical skillsBase knowledge of the operating systems (and office suites) in use in the company as well as the installation and configuration of workstations and their peripheralsGeneral skillsExcellent customer serviceAnalytical mindGood team spiritBilingual French/English (spoken and written)Working conditionsMay have to lift equipment weighing up to 30 kilos,May have to work at other offices near the main officeOccasional overtime work on evening and weekends****************Appropriate accommodations will be provided upon request throughout the recruitment and hiring process as required by Company policy and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
